Shipping & Returns


We have detailed instructions concerning returns. Please read the following carefully. 

We stand by the batteries we sell. During shipping, batteries may sustain damage.
This is a rare occurrence, however, it is a possibility. When you purchase our
batteries, you have a responsibility to examine your shipment. Please read the
following statement.  These are the steps to take upon receipt of your order.

 Should you determine that any items are damaged or missing, you MUST

note the item, the discrepancy, and the condition before you sign the
bill of lading or the liability to prove that the delivering carrier did
the damage becomes your responsibility.

Your signature on the delivering carrier's freight Bill Of Lading (BOL)
constitutes acceptance of the merchandise as is and in good order.

If you refuse the shipment due to damage, the next step is to please immediately
contact us either via email or phone. We can then take the appropriate
steps to correct the problem and insure you are satisfied.

RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES If an item is damaged, return shipment charges are not your responsibility. You
must first contact us for directions and the steps you need take to make a return. You will be responsible for return shipping charges. Also, original shipping fees will not be refunded. We can refuse to accept returns based on justification. When you place an order, it is incumbent upon you to research the correct type, model and size of battery to suit your needs. Due to the size and weight of large batteries, returns are costly. We hope you will take the time to order responsibly. This is the customers responsibility. East Coast Marine Battery
does not have any obligation or will it accept liability for customer error.
All return decisions are decided by East Coast Marine Battery. We charge a 15% restocking fee if an
order is accepted for return. All returns are inspected before any refund is given. It is solely our
discretion as to whether a return is in the proper condition & eligible for a return.

There is a 10 day window for returns.

SHIPPING WE SHIP WORLDWIDE. Note that there are restrictions on some products. Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. You must CONTACT US when INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING is required. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on weight and distance, shipping quotes will be shown. Please also note that the shipping rates for all of our items are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
